Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ reveals new leadership team

AUCKLAND, Yesterday: Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) ANZ introduced a fresh Networks leadership team as part of their new business strategy.

Juliet Peterson, VP and Head of Networks, ANZ, expressed excitement about the new team. “This year has been immensely challenging for the WBD ANZ networks team, with huge and disruptive changes. I think this refreshed leadership team is exactly the right group of people to take us into the future and chart a pathway to success.”

The new leadership team members include:

Matt Barthow, Senior Director, Content, ANZ
Charlotte Holden, Director, Legal, ANZ
Stephanie Taylor-Carrillo, Director, Corporate Comms, ANZ

They join existing members:

James Hole, Senior Director, Revenue, ANZ
Sasha Mackie, Senior Director, Marketing, ANZ
Gab Ayoub, GVP, Head of Creative, APAC
Noni Ahluwalia, Senior Director, FP&A, ANZ & Japan
Richard Beniston, Senior Director, Product and Data, ANZ
Richard Sutherland, Head of News, and Kylie Elsom, VP P&C, ANZ, will stay until July 31.

Peterson highlighted Matt Barthow’s journey, “I especially want to single out Matt Barthow, who has been working in the Flower Street studios since 2007, starting out as an intern. Now as Senior Director, Content, he will lead content strategy, programming, acquisition, commissioning and scheduling for WBD’s portfolio of Pay and free-to-air channels and platforms across Australia and New Zealand.”

The new business model takes full effect on July 8, with a transition period until then.
