AUCKLAND, Today: Two global advertising heavyweights delivered an intimate conversation at the Axis speaker event in Auckland last night.
DDB Sydney ECD Tara Ford and TBWA Toronto ECD Jenny Glover spoke candidly about their experience judging Axis and their careers. They fielded a few choice questions from an appreciative audience of keen professionals. There was a particular focus on life in the industry from a women’s perspective.
The evening was hosted by FCB CD Pete Vegas who jollied things along quite nicely.
M+AD’s Scott Pryor attended the event and reports that the evening provided valuable background for next week’s Axis Awards. He believes the “very relevant” discussion should have been captured for posterity.
