Wearable tech hits the streets – courtesy of TBWA & Cody’s

TBWA Auckland has conjured up a novel prize for a competition being run by Independent Liquor to promote Cody’s Bourbon & Cola. It’s a pair of Chilly Bin Pants – or, to be more precise, an 18-can mobile bourbon cooling system integrated into a fashionable pair of trousers.

“You can be the human minibar for all of your friends,” the agency points out in its call for entries – out today.

“What is going on in the world?” reads the blurb. “It’s no longer safe to wear budgie smugglers to motorsports. You can no longer go outside in a clownsuit. Humankind seems no closer to answering the question: What am I going to wear?”

Cody Industries assigned their formidable R & D department to tackle this important issue. The result is a revolutionary garment.

The cooler pockets are a snug fit for Cody’s Bourbon & Cola cans and are fashioned from space-travel type materials. Wearable tech has finally landed in NZ! Available in this season’s hottest colours.

“Only this level of science can guarantee a party in your pants,” said a Cody Industries spokesperson.
