Citing a rapid expansion of its online business, digital & directory services company Yellow has appointed Marcus Wild to the “key senior role” of marketing manager – content & creative, with responsibility for building the company’s marketing and content platform for SMEs and consumers.

Wild joins the company from leading cloud video production platform 90 Seconds, where he served as NZ general manager. Previously he was global video channel manager at Xero and head of video at Fairfax Digital.

The content scene
“This is an incredible opportunity to work with a historic brand as it evolves to a new kind of business,” he said.

“It’s essentially a big corporate that is entering the content scene and engaging with its customers and New Zealand consumers at a higher level than ever before, and I’m ambitious about where we’re taking Yellow.”

Yellow chief marketing officer Darren Linton said: “It’s a privilege to have someone of Marcus’s calibre join the Yellow team. He has helped lead iconic digital companies which have reinvented industries, and his expertise and deep knowledge of digital storytelling and audience connection will be critical to achieving the big goals we have for the business.”
