MELBOURNE, Today: Zitcha, headquartered in Australia and active in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa, is now eyeing Asia as a major retail media market.
Forsyth will help grow Zitcha’s business in Australia and New Zealand and lead its push into Asia. He aims to empower retailers to monetise their media assets, like websites, social media, advertising, search, email, and in-store displays. This will help brands in APAC use first-party data and personalisation to boost revenues.
Research by the IAB Southeast Asia and India found that nearly 2,000 senior marketers plan to increase their retail media spend this year. “88% are already advertising on between one and three retail media networks and 87% will integrate retail media advertising into their media plans this year.”
Forsyth will report to Nick Hinsley, Zitcha’s chief revenue officer. Hinsley said, “Retail media in Australasia and Asia represents a significant, but so far relatively untapped opportunity for retailers, wanting to more efficiently and effectively leverage their own media assets for brand advertising partners.
“The appointment of Josh is the exciting next development in Zitcha’s continued success locally and our move into Southeast Asia and beyond.”

Forsyth has over eight years of experience in senior sales, partnerships, and operations roles at adtech companies like Yahoo, The Trade Desk, and Vistar Media. He helped clients with new and emerging programmatic channels.
